Linklaters Insight Afternoons

We’re hosting an exclusive Insight Afternoon on Wednesday, 02 February 2022 for first year students (or those in their 2nd year of a 4 year course) studying an undergraduate degree in the UK and Ireland. Open to both law and non-law students, we will help develop your commercial understanding and let you know what to expect from a career in Law.

The day will run from 13:30 – 16:00 and will include interactive workshops, Q&A panels and an application masterclass. It is an invaluable opportunity to ask questions of our Trainees, Associates and Trainee Recruiters so come ready with your questions!

Applying is straightforward – simply fill in your details and answer our 200 word question about our agile mindset framework. You will need to have achieved or be on track for a 2.1 in your undergraduate degree and in your first year or second year of a four year undergraduate course to be eligible to apply.

First Year Workshop (1 – 31st Jan 2022):

Each spring, we run two, two-day workshops at our London office. These interactive sessions cover subjects like Corporate Negotiation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, insights into our pro bono work, and include a careers fair. You'll also spend an afternoon shadowing a trainee, followed by an evening social event. Whilst building your network, you will prepare for a vacation scheme and pursue our Trainee Associate Programme. 

 

Campus Ambassador (1 – 31st Jan 2022):

These positions are open to first-year students (you'll act as a campus ambassador during your second year). This role provides you with work experience and deeper insight into HSF, helping you hone key transferable skills, as you organise events and promote HSF on campus.
